Aircraft Seating Manufacturer

EMR Brackley Ltd. has been working closely with a major Aircraft Seating Manufacturer for projects within the aerospace industry, from the earliest stages of research and development through to the delivery of the final product. The project involved the design and manufacture of 2500 Actuators for Aircraft Seats, produced out of steel and aluminium, during a period of 3½ years. The Gearbox Ratio for the Actuators was 9000:1 and involved 15 processes, including Design, Milling, Turning, Gear Cutting, Grinding, Anodising, Assembly and Testing.

The value of this project was in the region of £2,500,000.
